I received my Juris Doctor from Nova Southern University on June 30, 1998. I was admitted to the Florida Bar on September 30, 1998, and have practiced law primarily in South Florida ever since. I was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on April 16, 1999, where I represented clients in bankruptcy matters.
I am a graduate of Florida International University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in both Finance and International Business.
When my parents and I immigrated to the United States in 1968 fleeing Cuba, we settled in N.J. and some 10 years later moved to Miami, Florida and have been here ever since.
